The Site and Content
Major Wood BBQ publishes barbecue education, recipes, reviews, tools, digital products, and related entertainment under Scallywag Media Inc. Our content is for general informational purposes. Cooking involves heat, fire, knives, food-safety decisions, and equipment risk. You are responsible for using safe equipment, following manufacturer instructions, and complying with applicable food-safety guidance.
Fictional Brand Persona
Major Wood is a fictional illustrated brand character. He is not a real veteran, public official, physician, attorney, food inspector, or government representative. The military-style language is part of the brand voice, not a claim of service or authority.
Accounts, Purchases, and Memberships
Some account, checkout, digital delivery, cart, and membership features are still in pre-launch status. Paid digital products may be sold through Stripe Checkout, and product-specific rules may apply. Additional subscription terms will apply when memberships launch.
Unless a product page says otherwise, digital products are licensed to you for personal use and may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded, or used to train commercial systems.
Refunds
For initial digital products, you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing support with your Stripe receipt or order email. We may deny or limit refunds for abuse, duplicate requests, chargeback fraud, or products that clearly state a different refund rule on their product page. Subscription, physical product, and membership-specific refund terms will be published before those offers launch.
Affiliate and Third-Party Links
Some links may take you to third-party sites or affiliate partners. We may earn a commission if you buy through those links at no extra cost to you. Third-party sites have their own terms, policies, prices, availability, and claims. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, or websites.
User Submissions
If you send us questions, reviews, photos, ideas, recipes, product suggestions, or field reports, you give us permission to read, respond to, store, edit, and use that submission to operate and promote Major Wood BBQ. Do not send material you do not have the right to share.
